Fotona 4D,
the non-surgical facelift
Four laser modes firm the face at every depth, from inside the mouth outward, prompting your skin to rebuild its own collagen. Nothing is added to your face. What lifts is your own skin.
How it works
Four modes, four depths
The four in Fotona 4D is four laser modes. Each treats the face at a different depth, and in sequence they reach the structure from the deep tissue to the surface.
SmoothLiftin
Er:YAG laser · inside the mouth
The treatment begins inside the mouth. A non-ablative laser mode warms the deep tissue of the cheeks and lower face from within, where the structure that holds the jawline sits. It is the step that reaches the face from behind the skin rather than across its surface.
Frac3
Nd:YAG laser
The second mode treats from the surface, with a deeper-reaching laser. It sets a fractional pattern of microscopic points through the skin, concentrated where age has changed it most, and that controlled stimulus prompts the deeper layers to rebuild.
Piano
Nd:YAG laser
The third mode warms the skin in bulk. A long, gentle pulse heats the full thickness of the dermis evenly, and that steady warmth tightens the layer where the skin's structural collagen sits.
SupErficial
Er:YAG laser
The fourth mode finishes at the surface. A light laser peel lifts away the worn surface of the skin, refining its texture and evening its tone.
The first three modes are constant. The fourth is the finishing step, and it is the one you set when you choose your treatment options below.
What it treats
What Fotona 4D treats
Fotona 4D is built for the face that has begun to soften overall, more than for a single line in isolation. It treats the changes that gather across the lower face: a jaw that has lost its clean line, the folds that deepen between the nose and the mouth, skin that has slackened and turned uneven in tone and texture. With the neck included, it treats the lower face and neck as the one continuous area they are.
The result arrives in two stages. Straight after a treatment the skin feels tighter, as its existing collagen contracts in the warmth of the laser. The larger change is slower and more lasting: over the weeks and months that follow, the skin lays down new collagen of its own, and the lift and the smoothness build as it does. A course is planned around that timeline.
It is worth being plain about what that means. Fotona 4D treats the skin itself: its firmness, its texture, and the collagen it has slowed in making. It does not restore deep volume the way a filler does, and it does not reposition tissue the way a surgical facelift does. What it offers is your own skin, genuinely improved, and for most people that is exactly the result they came for.
What to expect
What a treatment is like
Fotona 4D fits into ordinary life without much to arrange around it. Here is what a session involves, and what the days afterward look like.
On the day
A face treatment takes around 45 minutes to an hour, a face and neck treatment a little longer. It needs no anaesthetic. The laser is felt as warmth and a light tingling, comfortable throughout, and the step done inside the mouth feels unusual the first time and passes quickly. Most people return to the rest of their day straight afterward.
Afterwards
The skin is warm and a little flushed at first, and that settles within hours. How much else to expect depends on the finishing step: without a peel there is very little to notice, the light peel can bring a few days of fine flaking, and the deeper resurfacing finish a little more. Aftercare is uncomplicated: a gentle moisturiser, daily sun protection, and a couple of days away from saunas, hot workouts and direct sun. Your clinician tells you exactly what to expect for the option you choose.
Over a course
Fotona 4D is usually planned as a course rather than a single session, because each treatment builds on the one before. New collagen forms gradually, so the result keeps developing between sessions and for some months after the last. How many sessions, and how they are spaced, is set with your clinician at your consultation.
Pricing and options
Choose your Fotona 4D
Fotona 4D is priced openly. Set your treatment below: the area, the finishing step and the number of sessions, and the price updates as you choose. Every plan is still calibrated to your skin at a free consultation, and what you choose here is where that conversation starts.
The prices here are real and the plan is yours to choose. A free consultation is where a clinician examines your skin, confirms the finishing step and the number of sessions that suit it, and answers anything this page has not.

Why Pink
Pink's Fotona 4D
The Signature protocol
Pink has performed Fotona 4D since 2019, one of the first clinics in Melbourne to offer it, and across hundreds of treatments since. Over those years the protocol has not stood still. Pink has refined how the four modes are sequenced and calibrated, drawing on what the clinic has learned treatment after treatment, and added a deeper resurfacing finish for clients who want more textural change. Pink calls its own version the Signature protocol.
Calibrated to your skin
Every Fotona 4D at Pink begins by examining the skin. A VISIA skin analysis maps what is happening beneath the surface, and from that the clinician calibrates the treatment to it: which modes, what depth, which finishing step. It is also how Pink treats every Fitzpatrick type: set for the skin in front of the clinician, deeper or fairer, with the considerations that matter for melanin-rich skin planned for from the first session, not discovered along the way.
Led by senior clinicians
Fotona 4D at Pink is led by Porsha and Stephy, the clinic's senior clinicians for anti-ageing. They are the people who would plan your treatment and run it with you, the same hands from the first session to the last. You are welcome to meet them before you decide anything.
